The goal of the conference was to fill the gap between the interests of the researchers, manufacturers, users and investors with the aim to structure and develop the Russian market of biotechnology.
Principal points were as follows:
The Conference was attended by head managers and specialists of federal ministries and agencies, relevant committees of the State Duma, technology development enterprises, research institutes, biotechnology science-and- production companies, banks, investment funds, associations, members of biotechnology market, representatives of foreign companies, experts and consultants, process engineers, and marketing specialists.
On the plenary session 8 presentations were made, on sectoral sessions- 19 presentations.
"Application of biotechnology in medicine and pharmaceutics" (7 presentations),
"Application of biotechnologies in agriculture" (5 presentations),
"Application of biotechnology in food industry" (4 presentations),
"Biotechnologies in extractive and process industries" (3 presentations).
Within the conference Round tables presentations were made:
1.Biotechnology users.
2.State regulation.
3.Protection of intellectual property rights.
4.Investments in biotechnology.
EXHIBITION took place during the conference.
