To the question of an international cooperation

Research centre of experimental and applied biotechnology CENTRE-BIOTIN; the city of Kirov
CENTRE-BIOTIN is created in 2002 by the ex – “weapon scientific” specialists in the field of chemistry, biochemistry and molecular biology. In fact, earlier these scientists worked in the systems of Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Medical and Biological Production. The creation of the centre is caused to satisfy needs of the usage of highly-qualified specialists’ knowledge and experience. Over a period of our work time we created laboratory experimental base and technical-scientific reserves, taking into account our work in hard conditions of self- financing and performing research and experimental development (R&ED) for Russian enterprises. Unfortunately, we couldn’t manage to provide an intensive development of our own material and technical basis because of the lack of enough financial resources. Hoping on the opportunity of the effective usage of R&ED results, we offer cooperation to the parts, especially foreign investors, interested in the field of industrial biochemistry, biotechnology, microbiology on basis of the stated proposals in the given abstract. We also hope these proposals to be commercialized.
1. Manufacture creation directed to the production of plant stock extraction and bioactive substance on the base of it.
There is an opportunity of existed buildings usage and mainly our specialists’ skills and knowledge to organize the production of plant stock extraction. Results of scientific-research works on plant stock extraction fractionating demonstrate possibility of getting wide range of products as a base for production of bioactive substance with the given characteristics. Forms of parts’ cooperation can be different. According to the given project the cooperation is desirably put into practice with one investor (collaborator) in the purpose of simplifying questions connected with intellectual and commercial interests defence. The reason of this circumstance can be explained by the fact that various kinds of staff have technological methods of the same kind. We should also mention, that some technological processes can be realized only with special equipment which is considered to be a commercial product. The specialists of our centre can perform the products engineering and that will create extra- efficiency to commercialize projects.
2. Joint Venture Establishing with a foreign investor on getting, studying, and producing substances and prepared forms of medical, veterinary, microbiological preparations, plant protection, biologically active additions to food.
In contrast to the previous proposal one can easily realize decomposition of a common task into components without damage to the parts of the project according to the following guidelines. Without minimizing the importance of the role and place among possible guidelines, we consider pure microbiological preparations to be the most interesting trend as they let increase the efficiency of many existed enterprises which widely use microbiological processes, connected with getting biomass as well as getting a priori established metabolic products. All the rest questions and forms of cooperation are stipulated by the parts. This theme can be examined as a single whole which has the development in all spectra of problems. In the context of this guideline one can also examine issues of producing neuropeptides, hormones, adaptogens, micronutrients etc., and also study their specific characteristics.
3. Cooperation in the field of biotechnological reproduction and adaptation of some kinds of animals to new climatic conditions, to be exact, the climatic conditions of the Kirov region.
By this proposal we attract scientists’, specialists’ and businessmen’s attention to one of the up-to-date trends of money investment- to rare species of animals keeping and breeding, as well as their adaptation to new climatic conditions. Given proposal includes creation and effective usage of forage reserve taking into account the usage of local resources, the study of the animals’ natural and accelerated adaptation dynamics and their effective reproduction potentialities.
Creation of the proving ground for the carrying out work package will enable the project easily to become not only the scientific one but commercial as well.
4. Carrying out scientific-research team-work directed to the creation of new kinds of technological equipment for microbiological manufactures.
We would like to pay investors’ or collaborators’ attention to the following key points:
· aerobic fermentation;
· obtained components fractionation è concentration.
In all established issues we have conceptual solutions, possessed of novelty.
Taking into consideration the necessity of the components and equipment detailed elaboration, we are ready for a joint patenting with a collaborator to provide commercialization of the scientific-research and experimental development.
5. Other issues and questions.
It’s quite natural that a would-be investor or a collaborator will have some other questions and offers. We are ready to examine them, to estimate possibilities and to give a proper answer.
