In the paper the RAPD results are presented for nine different bug species, which belong to various genera and families. Molecular-genetic polymorphism of insects was studied with two primers (ÎĐÀ06 and GT09). Using the most frequent and reproducible DNA fragments (58 RAPD markers) cluster analysis (UPGMA) and canonical discriminant analysis were conducted. All the 127 insects clearly divided into separate clusters according to their species. So, a separate group was formed by stink bugs (Pentatomidae) including such a species as Sunn pest (Eurygaster integriceps, Scutelleridae). Genetic similarity of Sunn pest to other Pentatomidae species seems to indicate that the tested bugs rather belong to Pentatomidae than to Scutelleridae.
