Joint Stock Company "BIOCHIMMASH", founded in 1974 as All-Union Research & Development, Design & Engineering Institute of Biochemistry (VNII"BIOCHIMMASHPROEKT" was established with the aim of the development and introduction of the advanced technologies into medical and microbiological industry. From the date of establishment and up to 90-th, the major activities of the Institute was the development of large-scale technologies and organization of the productions. In 1994 NII was re-organized into Joint Stock Company (open type).
